As a mother, I can't imagine being willing to lose one of my children. I also don't get how they think God would want all these things. They make God seem like an abusive boyfriend rather than a loving Father. As parents, it is normally instinct to want our children to be happy, fulfilled and safe, so as our Father, wouldn't God want the same for all of us? I recently went through a marriage filled with emotional, narcissistic, psychological, verbal, spiritual abuse, etc. I eventually made the necessary decision to divorce. I am recognizing the spiritual abuse in addition to all the different abuse you all have endured. So many polygamist cult members endure that abuse at the hands of their families and leaders. Im a paramedic in Colorado and I have been doing it for 16 years, I had patients pass out and code, I intubated patients and later I found out they coded later, as for patients praying those patients were not in real danger of dying they just thought they were, when your body starts the dying process you are beyond the ability to pray verbally, more so you produce a death rattle sound or snoring if bleeding fills the lungs.
